Bike to Lunch

Bring your own bike or sign one out from the club if/when available and have an adventure on wheels with other bikers. A great way to get exercise and enjoy our beautiful surroundings. Meet on the first Tuesday of the month at 11 a.m. at the Front Gate.  Rides will range from 8 miles to 15 miles and we will try to ride on quiet streets and sidewalks to be safe.  Each month we will ride to our pre-determined destination for lunch together.

Walk with Me

Walk with new and old friends either within Desert Horizons or venture out to other locations. This group meets Monday and Friday mornings at 8:30 a.m. in the Clubhouse parking lot.  Watch for a weekly email!  Come when you can. Walk location and other details are emailed in advance with guidance on whether you can bring a favorite furry friend or whether we will have a walking adventure outside the gates!

Water Aerobics
Need a jumpstart to your day?  If you'd like a good workout or need to address special needs such as bad back, knees, hips or golf swings, this is the activity for you!  All Women's Club members are welcome and classes are held Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at heated Pool 13 on Vista Del Rey.
Water Colors
It's never too late to pick up a hobby and watercolors can be very rewarding. Many beginners have been surprised by the joy they felt after one day of painting!  Each class will be small with lots of attention to detail such as learning what look is created by different size and shape brushes and different papers. You will also learn watercolor techniques wet on wet, wet on dry and the use of salt. Class runs about 3 hours and everyone agrees that it flies by!  Materials will be provided for purchase at the start of a class.  Sharon sends out emails to all those in the Water Color Group with the theme and date for each class.
